Bicycle House is a family-owned business founded in 2021 by the Gavasheli family, driven by a lifelong passion for cycling. Our story begins in Georgia, where the Gavasheli family has been deeply involved in the cycling world since the 1980s.
Ilia Gavasheli, the family’s mechanical “machine,” has held multiple roles in the industry—as a nationally recognized athlete, a coach for the Georgian Cycling Federation, and a respected bike store owner in Tbilisi, Georgia.
His son, Besik “Beso” Gavasheli, quickly followed in his father’s footsteps. Beso became the first Georgian 7x National Champion in Mountain Bike Cross Country and 2x National Champion in Time Trial. He also represented Georgia in Mountain Biking at the 2015 European Olympics. With over a decade as a professional cyclist, Beso brings unrivaled expertise and a true passion for the sport.
In 2015, the Gavasheli family relocated to Cincinnati, OH, with the mission of sharing their love for bikes and commitment to quality service with the local community. In 2021, we proudly opened our first Bicycle House store in West Chester, OH, where we focus not only on high-quality bicycles but also on exceptional customer service.
