Bicycle House is a family-owned business founded in 2021 by the Gavasheli family, driven by a lifelong passion for cycling. Our story begins in Georgia, where the Gavasheli family has been deeply involved in the cycling world since the 1980s.
Ilia Gavasheli, the family’s mechanical “machine,” has held multiple roles in the industry—as a nationally recognized athlete, a coach for the Georgian Cycling Federation, and a respected bike store owner in Tbilisi, Georgia.
His son, Besik “Beso” Gavasheli, quickly followed in his father’s footsteps. Beso became the first Georgian 7× National Champion in Mountain Bike Cross Country and 2× National Champion in Time Trial. He also represented Georgia at the 2015 European Olympics in Mountain Biking. Throughout his career, Beso competed at the highest level of the sport, racing in numerous UCI World Cups, World Championships, European Championships, and other elite Olympic-format mountain bike events. At his peak, Beso ranked among the Top 80 riders in the UCI World Mountain Bike Rankings. With over a decade as a professional cyclist, Beso brings unrivaled expertise and a true passion for the sport.
